The charming decorations at The Shippon made me feel right at home. The cozy sitting area with its soft cushions and warm fireplace was perfect for relaxing. The hotel's accessibility for senior people was excellent, with wide hallways and handrails throughout, making it easy to navigate.

I would have loved to see more activities specifically tailored for senior guests. Maybe some gentle exercise classes or organized outings for us to enjoy.

Our stay at the Shippon in Bude was very nice! The value for money was excellent, and the rooms were spacious, modern, and impeccably clean. The peaceful location was just what we needed, and the staff treated us like family, even offering us an extra two nights in a spare house when my partner went into early labor. We can't wait to rebook for the summer!

The only thing that could have made the breakfast even better would be if there were more options to choose from when it comes to food in the morning.

The only thing I would have asked for to make the vacation even better for senior people is if the children working there could provide a bit more assistance to guests with their luggage. Sometimes it can be a bit challenging for us seniors to carry heavy suitcases, and a helping hand would have been greatly appreciated.
